TOUCHING JESUS

Introduction:
It’s my pleasure to be standing before you today and proclaim the acceptable words of the Lords. I don’t take it for granted that you are prepared to listen to this message. I know you should be happy that you are part of the Gods body hence you qualify to learn what he wants to teach us today. Take a prayer before we proceed.
Seeking solutions
In the world we leave today there are a lot of problems that we meet that we own our own seek to find answers for. Sometimes the problems we face seem to be mountains too high to climb. We then try to find answers to the problems either sicknesses, sin, financial troubles, family issues and many other issues. The only question we fail to ask is; where should we find our answers from. Many have made grave mistakes in life by seeking solution from people that could not help them at all but rather help in making there problem deteriorate.
When you face problems, to where do you raise your head to? The woman we read in this chapter spent a lot of money trying to find an answer to her sickness. The bible says, instead of her problem getting solved it grew worse. She spent all she had and nothing bettered.
It was only one day; I mean one day that she heard of Jesus Christ that she knew that her problem was to be over.
In the midst of the cloud
Many people are in the midst of a cloud. The bible records that, when this lady was in the cloud and could not see the way to meet Jesus, she made a plan. There are other things that we meet in life that makes us think in unbelievable way and believe God will work miracles for us. “Only when I can touch his garment, I will get healed and my problem will be over” so she thought. But remember she was still in the cloud, dancing around the lord Jesus and pretending as if all was well. This means that nothing will happen to her unless she makes a bold decision.
She took a bold decision to ignore the cloud and seek her answer. She struggled through, pushing strong and healthy men and women and forcing herself to where Jesus was. Finally she was there. I wish you can visualize what was happening at this time, while she was feeling the pain in her body, never wanting to cry or shout but it should all be between her and Jesus no one else.
Many people today are in the cloud. You are missing the touching hand of Jesus because of what will my neighbor sitting next to me say when she/he sees me touching Jesus? This is the problem that is hitting many people today and causing them to fall in pain. Unless you move out of the cloud your problem will be solved.
Remember that God does not see you in the cloud or see you as Mr. or Mrs. Cloud but he sees you as a victor and a conqueror individually. He calls you ‘YOU’ not the cloud. While you are still in the midst of the cloud, dancing around Jesus and knowing Jesus, it is not enough, take a bold Jesus and go close to him seeking what you need.
Your problem facing you
You just have too much trouble around you. You go to church and go out of the church with your issues never wanting Jesus to upload you. Once you are home alone, you see you problem facing you face to face. Now you are out of the cloud and your issues are hitting you. The cloud is no where to help you. This is when you need the best friend. Remember, Jesus cannot upload you if you don’t want him to. Take a bold step in going close. The issues we have today require us to move to Jesus and………….touch him.
Solution
The devil does not want to see you out of your problems. We desires to have your life destroyed but remember the Lord is for you no one can be against you. Your future is in the hands of the lord. Know that you will reach tomorrow for the lord is still ruling and you God.
The unexpected happened this sick woman touched Jesus. The bible records that the same time she touched Jesus, the lord knew some power has disappeared from him. He turned around. Should I say he asked deliberately for the woman to come out herself? But what the bible says is that Jesus asked a question. ‘Someone has touched me’ the disciples and I can imagine the cloud was also puzzled. How can Jesus ask who has touched him when there are people touching him every second? But Jesus insisted some one has touched me.
Brethrens know that there is touching, and there is touching. There is the fake touching and a real touching. Sometimes you may think you have touched Jesus when you have not started at all, you are just rubbing around him. You may be surprised that your problem is not ending. Know that maybe you have not yet touched Jesus…”the real touch”
Jesus knew that there were a lot of people that had touched him, but he was looking for a specific person who had touched him. And was waiting for that person to come out and should I say testify. What I am seeing in the end is that the woman came out to testify and agree with Jesus that she had touched Jesus in a special way. You know what Jesus said at the end? “Daughter, your faith has healed you today” see the joy on that woman’s face!
Conclusion
I have three questions for you today as I finish this message
Are you real Touching Jesus?
Does Jesus know and recognize that you have touched him?
Do you see answers in your way?
